Billaway has won a thrilling St James’s Place Hunters’ Chase on the final day at the 2022 Cheltenham Festival.
The favourite going into the race, Billaway had to produce a phenomenal finish as he was around 5 lengths behind leader Winged Leader after the final fence was cleared.
But with jockey Patrick Mullin controlling proceedings, Billaway stormed down the final lengths and took the victory ahead of Winged Leader by a neck at the finish line.
