Constitution Hill on the way back

Nicky Henderson has raised the possibility of Constitution Hill running at the Punchestown Festival at the beginning of May.

Last season’s Champion Hurdler was forced out of the Cheltenham Festival this month when he was found to be suffering from a respiratory infection.

Now blood tests have shown Constitution Hill is getting back to full health and Henderson, who was forced to withdraw several more contenders at the Festival, said: ‘You can take it he won’t be going to Aintree (for the Grand National meeting) but if he continues and his work progresses with it, there is the possibility he could go to Punchestown, which both his owner Michael Buckley and I would love to do if possible.’
