Punter unbelievably turns £1 accumulator into £335,000 payout before wisely cashing out to take home more than £20,000 at Sandown Park

  • The punter turned their seven-horse  each-way accumulator into a huge payout
  • He wisely decided to cash out during the sixth race, saving his winning bet
  • He had correctly picked five winners from the opening races at Sandown Park

One prescient punter displayed unbelievable forecasting abilities at Sandown Park races on Saturday, as they managed to turn a £1 bet into a head-spinning winning before cashing out to take home a profit of £21,532.

His seven-horse each-way accumulator remarkably produced wins in each of the first five races.

Spiced Run, Champagne Twist, Go Dante, Honky Tonk Highway and Scarface all claimed victory in Surrey.

Those triumphs had the punter looking at a total payout of more than £300,000 but things began to turn with ‘Bangers And Cash’ in the 4.10pm.

The Gelding’s performance clearly unsettled the punter enough to prompt him to cash out with his winnings in excess £20,000.

Honky Tonk Highway rode to victory in the 3.00pm, making it four wins on  the spin for the punter

‘Fortunately for the customer they cashed out as the race was being run as the horse went on to finish third and his last leg was also beat.’ Betfair Spokesman Barry Orr  said.

‘It’s great to see a small stake customer use the cash out tool to such great effect.’
