Golfing superstars Brooks Koepka and Graeme McDowell will fly into Kempton later this month hoping to see their horse Givemefive book his place at the Cheltenham Festival when he runs in the Adonis Hurdle.
Trainer Harry Derham revealed 2010 US Open winner McDowell and five-time major winner Koepka would stop off at the track on February 24 to watch their two-time hurdle winner.
Givemefive has won over hurdles at Market Rasen and Warwick since being bought out of Johnny Murtagh’s Irish stable.
His possible races at the Festival are the Triumph Hurdle and the Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle.
Derham, successful with Nordic Tiger at Huntingdon on Thursday, said: ‘Brooks and Graeme are going to Kempton.

They are flying from Florida to the Middle East for the next week so they will stop over and hopefully watch Givemefive run really well in the Adonis.
‘I don’t think Brooks has been racing before. He is a first-time owner and is really enthusiastic. He and one of his best mates Daniel Gambill own the horse with Graeme and they are loving it because they have an exciting horse.
‘It would be nice to give them a good day at Kempton. Hopefully Givemefive will read the script!’
Derham will have up to five Festival runners headed by Queens Gamble (Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle) and also including Molly Mango (Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle) and Imagine (Turners Novices’ Chase), bought this week for €170,000 and €320,000 respectively from the Gordon Elliott stable.
