Hello and welcome to Mail Sport’s live coverage of Day Three of this year’s Cheltenham Festival, devoted to this Sunday’s St Patrick’s Day.

But every day this week may well have been classed as honouring the Emerald Isle, such is the green-wash Irish trainers have been pulling off, utterly outclassing their British rivals.

Thursday is set to be an all-timer, with not one but two feature races this afternoon: The Ryanair Chase at 2.50pm, and the Stayers’ Hurdle shortly after at 3.30pm.
