After a successful day one, the Cheltenham Festival returns on Wednesday, with six races to be held following the abandonment of the Cross Country Chase.
On a day for short-priced favourites, Paddy Power are offering a 5/2 Treble on Ballyburn, Fact To File and El Fabiolo and, while former Cheltenham winner Lizzie Kelly has warned of Stay Away Fay’s potential in the 2.30, Mail Sport racing correspondent Dominic King has insisted Fact To File will not be beaten.
The Coral Cup seems difficult to predict, but Kelly has backed Might I, ridden by Jonathan Burke, for success at 14/1 each way. In the Champion Chase at 4.00, King and Kelly agreed that is is El Fabiolo’s race to lose at 3/10 despite the potential of Edwardstone.
Regarding the best bet of the day, Kelly conceded that Ballyburn is the best bet for success despite the short odds.
King, meanwhile, pointed to Elixir De Nutz as a potential call at 28/1 in the Champion Chase, and picked out Fact To File at 4/6 in the Novices’ Chase as a banker.
