Rix de L’Arc de Triomphe fourth Japan, winner of last season’s King Edward VII Stakes, heads the entries for Wednesday’s feature Prince of Wales’s Stakes.
The Aidan O’Brien-trained colt is joined in the 12 possibles by stablemate Magical, winner of the 2019 Champion Stakes at Ascot.

Trainer Tim Easterby is still deciding whether to run impressive Newcastle winner Art Power in either the Palace of Holyroodhouse Handicap over five furlongs on the Friday or more ambitiously the Group One Commonwealth Cup over six furlongs on the same day.
Easterby, who is hoping for soft ground, said: ‘The Group One looks a bit open this year so we’ve got to have a good think.’
Roger Teal-trained Kenzai Warrior, who lost his chance in the 2,000 Guineas when stumbling exiting the starting stalls before finishing ninth to Kameko, will step up in trip from a mile next week.
The colt is entered in both the King Edward VII Stakes over 12 furlongs and the 10-furlong Hampton Court Stakes.
Far Above, who laid claim to being one of the fastest horses in training when winning the Group Three Palace House Stakes at Newmarket last Saturday, has been retired by trainer James Tate after sustaining an leg injury in the race.
