Bet Right CEO Anthony Waller is confident Tom Kitten will salute ahead of the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained Ganbare and Raf Attack.
‘It looks to be the ideal race for rising three-year-old colt Tom Kitten to join the ranks of Group 1 winner,’ he told Daily Mail Australia.
‘Has been a model of consistency, and all of his runs suggest the 2000m feature should be right up his alley.
‘A win for Tom Kitten would cap off a remarkable return for the likeable hoop Adam Hyeronimus, who only recently returned from a lengthy stint on the sidelines due to suspension.
‘Since returning, Hyeronimus has ridden 14 winners, including a recent Group 1 in Tropical Squall.
‘He has also positioned himself for a good day in Sydney on Saturday, with many of the top (Sydney) jockeys electing to ride at Moonee Valley.
‘Opportunities to ride favourites in Group 1 races are rare, and young Hyeronimus will be keen to capitalise.’
Waller went to state the Waterhouse and Bott duo of Ganbare and Raf Attack are not without hope and both have similar form lines to Tom Kitten.
All three recently contested the Gloaming Stakes where Raf Attack prevailed with a narrow win.
