Successful in today’s feature 12 months ago with the redoubtable Who Dares Wins, King appears to have another live contender in all-weather specialist Rainbow Dreamer who shaped with plenty of promise on his Gosforth Park comeback in the Group Three Sagaro Stakes.

In contrast, stablemate arthur’s kingdom (Curragh, 7.15) should find conditions to his liking and is fancied to improve on his creditable runners-up berth to the well-ridden Pyledriver in the King Edward VII Stakes when it looked like a lack of condition may have been his undoing.

There is a good chance the Camelot colt will sharpen up a fair bit for that experience and the first-time cheekpieces may also focus his mind.
