Tatts December Yearling Catalogue On-line

Tattersalls have released a quality catalogue for their single session December Yearling Sale which is scheduled for Nov. 27. The catalogue, which is available to view online here features a number of siblings to Group 1 winners including a filly by Kodiac (lot 162), offered by Hazelwood Bloodstock who is a half-sister to Barney Roy (GB) (Excelebration {Ire}). A couple of lots later Norris Bloodstock will offer a Dawn Approach (Ire) half-brother to the ill-fated G1 Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby winner Trading Leather (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}} as lot 164. There is also a sole yearling by Dubawi catalogued. Lot 155, already named Sinatra (Ger) will be consigned by Brendan Holland’s Grove Stud and is out of the Italian Group 1 winner Sortilege (Ire) (Tiger Hill {Ire}). Grove Stud will also offer a half-sister by Sea The Stars (Ire) to G1 Cheveley park S. winner Rosdhu Queen (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) as lot 154. Overall there are half brothers and sisters to 37 group and listed performers, in addition to 13 yearlings eligible for £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonuses, the same number eligible for the £150,000 Tattersalls October Auction S., five eligible for the €300,000 Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction S. and a further five eligible for French Owners’ Premiums.

Commenting on the catalogue Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony said, “The Tattersalls December Yearling Sale is a consistent source of top class performers and this year’s catalogue looks packed full of quality. Eight of the current top ten sires in Britain and Ireland have yearlings catalogued and as well as 13 yearlings eligible for £25,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonuses, owners will find eighteen more eligible for either the Tattersalls October Auction Stakes or the Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Stakes and nearly 100 eligible for the Plus 10 Bonus Scheme.”
