PUROSANGUE PRIMED FOR CUP TILT
The Stewards’ Cup (3.35) is the highlight on the final day of the Goodwood Festival and PUROSANGUE (NAP) should go close for trainer Andrew Balding.
The three-year-old colt finished second behind Big Evs in the Group Three Molecomb Stakes at the meeting last year and gets to run here from 4lb ‘well in’ at the weights on his handicap debut following a close second in a Group Three at Sandown a month ago.
Later at Hamilton (7.40), JORDAN ELECTRICS (NB) bids to break the record for the most wins at the track in modern times. The top weight has won his previous four races at the venue this season and can make all in a small field under regular rider Paul Mulrennan (right) to claim a ninth victory at the Scottish course.

Goodwood 3.00
RIVER OF STARS was the runner-up in this Group Two race last season and can go one better today. Ralph Beckett’s charge arrives in good form after a win at Pontefract in June.
Goodwood 3.35
SEVEN QUESTIONS is a classy sprinter and won the Group Three Palace House Stakes in May at Newmarket. He drops back into a handicap after running in a Group One at Royal Ascot.
