The Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale will run five days–from Oct. 30 to Nov. 3–instead of four due to a high level of entries, the sales company announced Tuesday. Over 1,750 lots are expected to be catalogued, with the sale starting at 9:30 a.m. local time for the first three days and at 10:00 a.m. the final two days. Book 4 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, featuring approximately 50 lots, will also be held on Nov. 3, immediately following the end of the Tattersalls Autumn Sale.
“The Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale is the largest of its type anywhere in the world and attracts a truly international cast of buyers each year,” said Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony. “Last Year’s record-breaking sale and clearance rate of 92% has resulted in an unprecedented number of entries, which means we have had to extend the sale to five days.”
Catalogues will be published on Sept. 28.
