Spill The Beans To Shuttle To Britain

Spill The Beans (Aus) (Snitzel {Aus}-Miss Dodwell {Aus}, by Falbrav {Ire}), a triple Group 3-winning sprinter in Australia for Arrowfield and trainer Gerald Ryan, will shuttle to the National Stud in Newmarket in 2018. Spill The Beans will be the first son of Snitzel, Australia’s record-breaking champion sire of 2016/17, to stand in Europe.

Spill The Beans was Australia’s busiest first-season sire in Australia last year, covering 202 mares at Aquis Farm in Queensland. Unbeaten at two, Spill The Beans won the G3 Eskimo Prince S. over six furlongs at three before adding the seven-furlong G3 Hawkesbury Guineas and the 6 1/2-furlong G2 QTC Cup. He defeated Group 1 winners Pride Of Dubai (Aus) (Street Cry {Ire}), Stratum Star (Aus) (Stratum {Aus}) and Holler (Aus) (Commands {Aus}) during his career.

Arrowfield Bloodstock Manager Jon Freyer said, “Spill The Beans is a highly talented, good-looking son of Snitzel. He had dazzling early pace, a high cruising speed and great tenacity. Sound and genuine, he has all the attributes owners, trainers and breeders most admire.”

National Stud Chairman Ben Sangster said, “This is a great opportunity for European breeders to have access to one of the most sought-after stud lines in the business, and we are delighted to be standing such a good-looking and talented young sire.”

A stud fee will be announced at a later date.
