2.00 Yarmouth, Cond, £10,000, 2yo, 6f 3yT

MATCHMAKING (GB) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}) is a son of the 2012 G1 Premio Vittorio di Capua placegetter Monami (Ger) (Sholokhov {Ire}) and debuts for the Sir Mark Prescott stable here. His eleven opponents include Ismail Mohammed’s Rule of Honour (GB) (New Approach {Ire}), who is kin to three black-type performers headed by 2006 G1 Sun Chariot S. victress Spinning Queen (GB) (Spinning World).

7.10 Newcastle, Cond, £5,250, 2yo, 8f 5y (AWT)

Aquis Farm’s $385,000 KEESEP yearling FINISHER (Street Cry {Ire}) is a son of MGSW three-time Peruvian champion Morena (Per) (Privately Held) and is thus a half-brother to last term’s GI Arkansas Derby and GI Belmont S. hero Creator (Tapit). Rivals to the Kevin Ryan trainee include the once-raced Broken Force (Broken Vow), who is a son of the 2005 G2 Prix Robert Papin victress New Girlfriend (Ire) (Diesis {GB}), from the in-form Karl Burke barn.

7.40 Newcastle, Cond, £5,250, 2yo, f, 6f (AWT)

CIRRUS MINOR (FR) (George Vancouver) is a half-sister to the 2014 G1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains third and 2015 G1 Doomben Cup victor Pornichet (Fr) (Vespone {Ire}) and is another juvenile representative for the Karl Burke yard. She takes on one dozen opponents which include Abdullah Saeed Al Naboodah’s Faay (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}), who is an Ed Dunlop-trained full-sister to dual G1 Nunthorpe S. victress Mecca’s Angel (Ire) and MGSW sire Markaz (Ire), coming back off a debut eighth at Newmarket last month.
