JOHNNY MURTAGH sends two horses to Southwell tonight and they are both among some significant movers this morning.
Murtagh has booked Kieren Fallon to ride Bwindi in the 8.05 and that has been backed into 4-6 (from 5-4).
Half an hour earlier Steuben has his first start for Murtagh and first since running for Barney Curley in October 2012. Put in at 7-4 this morning, Steuben is now no better than evens. He had been priced 6-1 by bet365 last night.
Curley’s former assistant Des Donovan has two runners at Yarmouth this afternoon, both of which have been cut. Newcomer Bang In Trouble is 5-2 (from a high of 14) for the 2.30 and Champagne Charley is 6-4 (from 13-2) for the 3.00. Another of Curley’s former assistants, John Butler runs Hejaz in the 4.50 at Brighton and that one has been cut to 11-4 (from 11-2).
