Godolphin will partner with Leopardstown Racecourse in Ireland to give students free entry to the racecourse on Killavullan S. Day on Oct. 22, Leopardstown announced Wednesday. Club Godolphin, the racing giant’s fan loyalty program, is also inviting 50 students to participate in a complimentary private tour of Godolphin’s Kildangun Stud with a stallion parade, followed by a day at the races. To take advantage of the offer, students must register at www.leopardstown.com before Oct. 13. For those who participate on the tour, a special prize is available. The prize consists of two students traveling to Newmarket and taking part in a private tour of the Godolphin UK racing and breeding headquarters in Newmarket. The trip will include return flights to the UK, a tour of Dalham Hall Stud and tickets to the Newmarket 2000 Guineas Day.
“The Club Godolphin Student Initiative introduced two years ago was a huge success and I welcome Club Godolphin’s continuation of this sponsorship,” said pat Keogh, Chief Excecutive of Leopardstown Racecourse. “This is a fantastic opportunity for horseracing fans to have an exclusive tour of Kildangan Stud before enjoying a day’s racing. More importantly with Club Godolphin’s support, this kind of initiative helps the growth and long-term future of our industry while helping to attract a new generation of fans to horse racing.”
