Looking good: Sam Twiston-Davies and Richie McLernon model the jumpers
Four jumpers to
follow this Christmas
ARE you ready to get fashionable this festive season? Well, luckily the Racing Post has come to your rescue by launching its Christmas jumper range.
The four designs – two of which feature the silks of leading owners JP McManus and Andy Stewart – go on sale on Thursday to raise money for the Injured Jockeys Fund and Irish Injured Jockeys.
Leading jockey Sam Twiston-Davies, seen above posing with fellow rider Richie McLernon in the knitwear, said: “It’s a great cause and that’s all my Christmas presents sorted for the family this year.
“Hopefully they will sell by the sleigh-load!”
The red, white and black silks in the jumper modelled by Twiston-Davies are those of Stewart, owner of amazing staying hurdler Big Buck’s.
“While I will be at home in Barbados this Christmas I will wear mine with pride,” he said .”#Jumpers4Jockeys is a fun idea, with all proceeds going to two top-class charities. I hope they raise Big Buck’s for them!”
Manufactured in Britain, the four jumpers come in sizes ranging from small to extra large and can be bought online through the Racing Post shop.
Priced at £14.99 (including post and packaging), the jumpers may make you the envy of all your friends and family and the proceeds of sales will be split between the two charities.
