KIEREN FALLON takes his first British rides of the year at Musselburgh on Sunday afternoon, when he has four booked mounts, including the fancied Amazement in the opening maiden.

James Tate, trainer of Amazement, is happy to see Fallon back.
He said: “Kieren’s Irish agent Ross Kearney rang me to say his jockey would be riding at Musselburgh on Sunday for Alan Swinbank and asked if I would like to use him.

“We’ve had a lot of success with Kieren in the past so I’m obviously delighted to use him again. Amazement should win if he runs like he works.”

Fallon’s other rides on the Musselburgh card are: Lopes Dancer (3.00), Moonshine Ridge (3.30) and Trikingdom (4.30).

The year so far

The six-time champion jockey, who spent the winter in California, may be having his first ride of the year in Britain on Sunday afternoon but has been busy in Ireland this spring, largely riding for highly-touted young trainer Michael O’Callaghan.

Fallon has ridden two winners from 39 rides in Ireland so far this season.
